Yukon Group devices save lives. With our commitment to excellence, we are a trusted partner for search and rescue, law and wildlife protection, and security organisations around the Globe.
Protecting the border
The European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) relies on Yukon products to keep the EU safe. Pulsar thermal imaging technology is used by Frontex to detect and monitor threats on the border, such as smugglers. Our devices’ advanced capabilities, including built-in rangefinders, high-resolution displays and wireless connectivity, enables Frontex to work with precision and efficiency.
Rescue operations
Alongside Norway’s Red Cross and People Aid, our products are used by the Norwegian air ambulance service, Norsk Luftambulanse. All their emergency helicopters are equipped with Pulsar Accolade 2 LRF XP50 Pro binoculars. Rescuers say these state-of-the-art devices enable missing persons to be located quickly and accurately, even in adverse weather and light conditions. Already four people have been rescued this year with Yukon’s help.
Wildlife protection
Thermal imaging technology extends its benefits beyond its conventional applications, finding utility in diverse fields such as wildlife conservation. In various regions of Africa, particularly, Pulsar’s thermal vision devices have been proven instrumental in safeguarding animals from the threats posed by poachers.
Yukon takes pride in the pivotal role that our products play in upholding public safety through these efforts.
