Yukon Investment Company is founded. It specialises in active and passive investments in promising areas outside our industry.

Axion XM30
Not only is it pocket-sized, but the Axion XM30 can detect an object (up to 1.8 metres high) at a distance of 1.35 kilometres in complete darkness.

Thermion
Another trailblazer hits the shelves. Thermion combines cutting-edge thermal imaging and software solutions within a classic riflescope.
2017
Increased functionality
Yukon goes digital. Devices with embedded video recording, Wi-Fi and mobile integration using the Stream Vision app are launched. This technological leap is first applied in the Helion thermal imaging monocular and the Trail thermal imaging riflescope. But it is later replicated in most Pulsar thermal and digital devices.

Night riflescope in a daylight format
Yukon’s Photon is the first digital night vision riflescope on the market with a daylight optics design, mounted on 30mm rings.

Yukon was awarded the ‘Gazelle Award’ in Lithuania, which recognizes companies that demonstrate rapid growth, flexibility, and profitability.

Our first thermal night vision riflescope
Pulsar debuts its maiden thermal night vision riflescope, the Apex. It boasts many unique features: Picture-in-picture display mode, one-shot zero and a thermal iris algorithm for enhanced detection recognition – to mention just a few.

Polaris Vision Ukraine
Yukon’s seventh international enterprise is established in Ukraine. It focuses on R&D, besides software and firmware development.

Pioneering night vision optics with the LRF
By introducing Digisight LRF – the first night vision device with a built-in laser range finder – Pulsar opens up unseen possibilities for seamless night-time hunting.
2012
First thermal imaging device for civilian use
The Quantum becomes the first thermal imaging monocular device made by Pulsar. It propels the company to leader of the civilian-use thermal imaging market. The series will be developed until 2018.
2009
Creation of Pulsar
Launched in 2009, the Digisight N550 digital night vision riflescope was the springboard of the Pulsar brand. Along with Digisight – which made Yukon Group a world leader in digital night vision technology – the creation of Pulsar™ expanded our range with several day-time, night-time and – later – multi-function thermal imaging devices.
2008
Yukon enters the United Kingdom
Polaris Vision Systems EU is founded in Scotland. Production, repairs and product services - it handles them all.
2006
Global rise
Subsidiaries are established in China (Opyu Enterprise) and Russia (Mezon-A). They increase production of night vision devices and daytime binoculars for international markets.
2005
Digital night vision devices
With the launch of the Ranger and Ranger Pro 5x42, Yukon becomes the first manufacturer in the world to offer digital night vision devices to the public. The Ranger proves to be one of the most successful products in company’s history.
2004
Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide
The headquarters of Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide is inaugurated in Vilnius, Lithuania. Many champagne corks are popped that night.
2001
Production of night vision rifle scopes begins
The first night vision riflescope – the NVRS – takes the market by storm. It will sell strongly for the next 15 years.
1999
Expansion into night optics
With the range of daytime optics expanding, Yukon moves to produce its madian night vision device. The company’s share in the global market will reach 70% by 2005.
1998
Establishment of BELTEX OPTIC
As a result of a merger with BELTEX OPTIC, the future foundation of Yukon is laid. Key products, such as spotting scopes and binoculars, are added to our portfolio. They are sold under the trademark Yukon Advanced Optics.
1995
Exports to the US
A new partnership with BAS Trading Group helps us enter the US market. The KGB 2.5x17 miniature theatre binoculars were marketed as the preferred choice of KGB agents – proving to be a marketing masterstroke.
1993
The first production
We start developing and producing daytime optical devices.
1991
Humble beginnings
A group of enthusiasts starts assembling handmade wooden observation tubes in the basement of an unfinished residential building. The devices are sold in Lithuania, Germany, Poland, Italy and Russia. Wood is used due to shortages of other materials at the time.
