Yukon Group Strengthens Engagement with the Sports Community

Yukon Group continues to foster meaningful partnerships within the sports community. As part of this ongoing commitment, the company is contributing to the 2025 World Rowing Junior Championships, which will take place in Trakai from August 6 to 10. Trakai, often regarded as Lithuania’s unofficial rowing capital, is renowned for its scenic Lake Galvė, rich cultural heritage, and natural surroundings. The championship will bring together young athletes from more than 65 countries and is being held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda.

In parallel, the company has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Lithuanian modern pentathlon team Muškietininkai. Modern pentathlon is considered one of the most complex Olympic sports, demanding endurance, versatility, courage, and rapid adaptability. Lithuania has a longstanding tradition in this discipline, having produced numerous world and Olympic champions.

A significant milestone for Lithuanian sport will also take place this summer, as Kaunas is set to host the World Modern Pentathlon Championships for Adults from August 26 to 30, 2025. This will be the first time Lithuania hosts a top-tier Olympic-level sporting event. Furthermore, it will mark the introduction of a new competition format in which obstacle running replaces the traditional equestrian show jumping segment.

Earlier this year, the company also expanded its support of regional sports initiatives through sponsorship agreements with two clubs from Daugavpils, Latvia – the football club BFC Daugavpils and the speedway team Lokomotiv Daugavpils.

These initiatives reflect the company’s continued dedication to promoting athletic excellence, youth development, and international collaboration through sport.
