Kavalskis discusses the company’s social responsibility initiatives and how they benefit not only the society but also the company and its employees. Yukon Group encourages its employees submit suggestions for social responsibility projects, and a third of the initiatives carried out are proposed by the employees. G. Kavalskis believes that businesses should approach social responsibility as a long-term investment rather than a philanthropic activity and should look beyond the basics of environmental sustainability to make a more meaningful impact.
