Experience at Yukon Group: Eight years
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
Seniority: Middle Management
Linas Guobys, Production Manager at Yukon Group, joined the company 7 years ago and has seen firsthand the company’s respect for its long-term employees. The European company’s unique attitude towards its employees is a key aspect of the brand, encompassing more than 1,000 people worldwide. As a passionate hunter, Linas understands the quality of Yukon’s optical and thermal imaging products. He feels lucky to test our devices in the field.
“When I started as a production manager, I oversaw ten employees. Now it’s more than a hundred. This alone shows how much Yukon has changed.”
“Over the past few years, the production scheme itself has also come on leaps and bounds as we constantly develop new devices. Creating, changing and improving the production process is a difficult task, especially for engineers, but it is extremely exciting!”
Linas manages the production of thermal imaging devices. He is responsible for planning production and supply, drawing up work schemes, and managing specific sectors. Yukon’s largest factories are in Lithuania and Latvia, where specialists feel valued and part of a large family. The same goes for Linas. He, like many others, appreciates how Yukon cherishes its personnel and invests in their growth and professional development.
Sharing the company’s values of fostering innovation, diversity, and excellence, Linas loves working on challenging projects, with supportive colleagues. He recognises management’s attention to employees and the opportunities to attend industry conferences. A rich array of training programs make him a vital asset to the team.
For Linas, working at Yukon is more than just a job. It’s family.
