The “Thermion XG50,” a thermal optical hunting scope developed by the advanced technology company group “Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide,” was nominated for the “Optical Device of the Year” award at the “Golden Bullseye Awards 2021” in the United States.
The esteemed award ceremony was organized by the National Rifle Association (NRA) publication “American Rifleman,” which has been a fixture in the industry since 1885 and stands as the oldest and largest US magazine dedicated to hunting and firearms.
“We are at the forefront of innovation in the production of optical hunting equipment, constantly striving to introduce new innovations each year that offer expanded technological and functional capabilities. It’s truly gratifying that our optical devices have gained substantial recognition from the ‘American Rifleman’ publication from a technological perspective. This recognition enables us to further solidify our position in the US market,” remarked Germanas Kavalskis, Communications Manager of “Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide.”
The expert committee highly valued the technological advancements of the “Pulsar Thermion XG50,” notably its highly sensitive thermal sensor – with 640×480 pixels and 12-micron capability – enabling detection of objects at standard heights (up to 1.8 meters) even in complete darkness, at distances extending up to 2400 meters. Similarly, the newly introduced 1024×768 HD AMOLED display garnered significant praise for its enhanced color representation, energy efficiency, and superior image contrast. Additionally, the integrated photography and video recording features, coupled with Wi-Fi capabilities for online video sharing, were lauded for their remarkable attributes.
